Ashley has become the seventh Nancy to be voted off I'd Do Anything with Graham Norton and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber
Ashley's dream is over as she becomes the seventh Nancy to be voted off BBC One's I'd Do Anything.
After this week's public vote Ashley and Niamh were the least popular Nancys and once again, Andrew Lloyd Webber decided to save Niamh.
On Saturday's live show, all six remaining Nancy finalists performed solo renditions of contemporary numbers chosen to show viewers that they have the skill and charisma to carry one of the most challenging roles in musical theatre, Nancy in Oliver!
After performing their songs and receiving feedback from Andrew Lloyd Webber and the judging panel of John Barrowman, Denise Van Outen and Barry Humphries, the Nancys faced a nervous wait for viewers to cast their votes.
Ashley and Niamh gained the least amount of public votes, and had to sing a rendition of one of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's own musical hits, Don't Cry For Me Argentina in order to survive.
Then it was up to Andrew Lloyd Webber alone to choose which Nancy should be saved to sing again next week and he decided to save Niamh
So now just five Nancys are left to fight it out in next week's live quarter final - Jessie, Jodie, Rachel, Samantha and Niamh.
The remaining hopefuls will go on to next week's show at 7.45pm on Saturday on BBC One where they will again perform for the nation who will decide who should be Nancy in the new Cameron Mackintosh West End production of Oliver!
The songs featured in this week's show were:
A Fine Life (from Oliver!) Fighter (Christina Aguilera) True Coulours (Cyndi Lauper) I Say A Little Prayer (Aretha Franklyn) Give A Little Love (From Bugsy Malone) Survivor (Destiny's Child) Jodie - If I Ain't Got You (Alicia Keys) Rachel - You've Got A Friend (Carole King) Jessie, Niamh, Samantha - Candyman (Christina Aguilera) Ashley, Jodie, Rachel - Man, I Feel Like A Woman (Shania Twain)
The results show featured performances of Nobody Does It Better (Carly Simon) and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
