Niamh has become the eighth Nancy to be voted off I'd Do Anything with Graham Norton and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber
Niamh's dream is over as she becomes the eighth Nancy to be voted off BBC One's I'd Do Anything.
After this week's public vote Rachel and Niamh were the least popular Nancys and this week, having saved Niamh in the past, Andrew Lloyd Webber decided it was time for Niamh to go.
On Saturday's live show, all five remaining Nancy finalists performed solo renditions of contemporary numbers chosen to show viewers that they have the skill and charisma to carry one of the most challenging roles in musical theatre, Nancy in Oliver!
After performing their songs and receiving feedback from Andrew Lloyd Webber and the judging panel of John Barrowman, Denise Van Outen and Barry Humphries, the Nancys faced a nervous wait for viewers to cast their votes.
Rachel and Niamh gained the least amount of public votes, and had to sing a rendition of one of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's own musical hits, Another Suitcase in Another Hall in order to survive.
Then it was up to Andrew Lloyd Webber alone to choose which Nancy should be saved to sing again next week and he decided to save Rachel
So now just four Nancys are left to fight it out in next week's live semi final - Jessie, Jodie, Rachel and Samantha.
The remaining hopefuls will go on to next week's live semi-final at 6.50pm on Saturday on BBC One where they will again perform for the nation who will decide who should be Nancy in the new Cameron Mackintosh West End production of Oliver! and the three boys chosen to play Oliver! will be revealed
The songs featured in this week's show were:
Nancys and Olivers - Consider Yourself (from Oliver!) Jodie - Holding Out For A Hero (Bonnie Tyler) Rachel - I Will Always Love You (Dolly Parton / Whitney Houston) Samantha - Defying Gravity (from Wicked) Olivers - Reach (S Club 7) Jessie - How Do I Live Without You (LeAnn Rimes) Niamh - Don't Speak (No Doubt) Nancys and Josephs - Dancing In The Street (Martha Reeves & The Vandellas)
The results show featured performances of I'm Going To Wash That Man Right Out of my Hair from the musical South Pacific and I Have A Dream (ABBA / Westlife)
