The 40 Semi finalists for Britain's Got Talent have been announced

The live semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent begin tonight, Bank Holiday Monday at 9pm on ITV1 presented by Ant & Dec with regular judges Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell

The semi-finals are to be shown each night this week

Each semi-final will feature 8 acts. The top act in the public vote each night will automatically go through to Saturday's live final, while the judges will decide which of the acts which come second and third in the public vote goes through to the final.

The forty semi-final acts are listed below. The list is in alphabetical order and NOT the order the acts will appear in the semi finals

Andrew Johnston 13 year old singer from Carlisle

Andrew Muir 24 year old singing plumber from Fauldhouse, West Lothian

Anya Sparks 42 year old single mum, dancer from Cambridge

Bang On Dave Smith, 34, from Hounslow and Katie Stephenson, 27, from Cambridge perform their percussion act using rubbish

Boogie Babes 19 dancers aged 8 to 11 from Appleby, Cumbria

Boogie Wonderland A group of young dancers aged 12-21 from Liverpool

Caburlesque Sarah Miller, 23, Christina Evenden, 24, Tricia Clark, 26, Rachel Waite, 24, Emily Brown, 24, Katy Spall, 22, Annie Deakin Foster, 24 and Jodie Cole, 24 form a cabaret/burlesque group

Charlie Green Charlie Green, 11, a singer from Droitwich Spa

Charlie Wernham a 13 year old stand up comedian from Billericay, Essex

Cheeky Monkeys Charlie Dixon and Krista Hyatt, both 8, are rock and roll dancers from Burnley, Lancashire

Craig Harper The one man Boyzone act, Craig is a 35 year old comedy singer

Deans of Magic Carl and Claudine Dean from Daventry perform their own sensual form of magic

Dean WilsonAt his audition, Dean, 18, got a standing ovation with his form of musical theatre

Diva Las Vegas Alison Peddle, 39 from Runcorn, David Poole, 48 from Runcorn, Danielle Potter, 22 from Runcorn, Leah Singh, 21 from Runcorn, Ashley Moore, 26 from Liverpool, Karina Harrison, 26 from Wigan and Sarah Terry, 20 from Warrington are cabaret singing and dance act, Diva Las Vegas

Faryl Smith 12 year old singer from Kettering

Flava Kyle Richardson, 18, Jack Britten, 19, Becca Gowers, 29, Sarah Pearce Mariner, 18, Charlotte Sturges, 18 and Emily Sturges, 18 are hip hop dance group Flava from Cornwall

George Sampson a 14 year old Break/street dancer from Warrington

Harlequin Dance School 22 Irish dancers aged 9-12 from Worcester

Hoop La La Craig Reid, 23, Tina Tuomisto, 25 and Jessie Rose, 22 from Inverness and Finland present their hula hoop variety act

Iona Luvsandorj 27 year old contortionist from London

Irresistible Jayne Welch, 23, Gemma Park, 21 and Amy Wilkinson 23 singers from Tyne and Wear

Jeremy Lynch Football Freestyler, 20 from Essex

Kate and Gin Kate Nicholas 16, from Shropshie and her dog Gin, 6 perform canine freestyle dancing
