George Sampson has won Britain's Got Talent 2008
George Sampson, 14, has beaten nine other acts in tonight's live final of Britains Got Talent presented by Ant & Dec to win this year's prize of £100,000 and an appearance at the Royal Variety Performance in front of Prince Charles, Prince of Wales.
After performances from The Cheeky Monkeys, Kate and Gin, Andrew Muir, Andrew Johnston, Nemesis, George Sampson, Faryl Smith, Escala and Signature, the public had their chance to vote and Ant & Dec announced the top three as Andrew Johnston, George Sampson and Signature. They then announced that Andrew had come third, and then that the winner of Britain's Got Talent, with his modern interpretation of Singing in the Rain, was George Sampson.
